The messaging of the Barbarian handshake may vary by circle. I tested it on two young Barbarians.

Player grasps your forearm with a sturdy grip and holds your gaze for a moment. Acknowledging the kinship between you, you return her compliment with a crushing grip of your own.

Dwarf Verbs

blush	You blush slightly, the tips of your ears flushing with warmth.	Player blushes, the tips of her ears turning a delicate scarlet hue.
shake hand name (done between Elves)	You extend your bared palms to Name in wordless greeting. Name places her palms over yours, completing the ritual.	Player extends her bared palms to you ritualistically in wordless greeting. You finish the gesture by covering her palms with yours.

Kaldar Verbs

Your eyes widen as you fix your gaze on Name, assessing that things may become difficult. Perhaps you should stay on your toes, just in case. You glance around nervously as your pupils dilate, trying to take in your surroundings quickly. You glance at item and try to figure out whether it will pose a significant problem for you or not.	Player opens her mouth widely and expels a few quick breaths. She holds that pose for a few moments, then closes her mouth with a definite click. Player's eyes widen and she fixes you with a cautious, reptilian stare. Her body seems tense and ready to react as she focuses on you. Player's pupils dilate as she glances around quickly, her tail twitching into a slight "U" shape. Player glances at item and emits a quiet clicking noise as she assesses it.

Raspberry

Tail Ahar (Agitation)

A back and forth undulation of the tail, with the tail held roughly at the center point between the middle of the S'Kra back and the ground. Generally implies agitation or confusion, and can be considered a questioning stance.

tail ahar	You undulate your tail back and forth in an agitated fashion.	Player's tail undulates in an agitated fashion.
tail ahar name	You give Name an irritated look, lashing your tail at the air.	Player gives you an irritated look, lashing her tail at the air.
tail ahar self	You frown, lashing your tail at the air in irritation.	Player frowns, lashing her tail at the air in irritation.
tail ahar item	You gaze at item and frown irritably, lashing your tail.	Player frowns irritably and lashes her tail, gazing at item.
tail ahar (sitting)	You lash your tail savagely along the ground. You know, you ought to watch where you swing that thing.	Player's tail lashes agitatedly across the ground where Player sits, threatening to trip anyone nearby.
tail ahar (lying)	You attempt to lash your tail, but the angle is awkward.	Player's tail writhes briefly.

Tail Em (Peace)

A back and forth undulation of the tail, with the tail held roughly two inches from the ground. Generally denotes pleasure, or peace.

tail em name	You roll the tip of your tail along the ground, gazing contentedly at Name.	Player gazes contentedly at you and rolls the tip of her tail along the ground.

Tail Grel (Sadness)

A forlorn down-curling of the tail, grel is a casual expression of sadness. The entire body tends to droop slightly; it is a subtle combination of movements not always obvious to non-S'Kra.

tail grel	You curl your tail toward the ground with a pathetic expression.	Player curls her tail toward the ground, her shoulders drooping.
tail grel name	You curl the tip of your tail downward pathetically and give Name a wounded look.	Player gives you a wounded look, lowering her tail pathetically.
tail grel self	You bow your head in deep sadness, tail curling slowly downward.	Player bows her head and closes her eyes as if weighed down by some great sadness, her tail curling slowly downward.
tail grel item	You gaze sadly at item, curling the tip of your tail downward.	Player gazes sadly at item, curling the tip of her tail downward.
tail grel (sitting/lying)	You slump dejectedly, curling your tail downward.	Player slumps dejectedly, curling her tail downward.

Tail Hat (Delight)

An up and down rolling undulation of the tail which denotes delight. The tail never rests on the ground but instead appears to "kiss" it.

tail hat	Your tail ripples in an undulation of delight.	Player's tail rolls up and down in a smooth undulation.
tail hat name	You trill happily at Name, your tail undulating in delight.	Player trills in your direction, her tail undulating up and down.
tail hat self	You utter a happy, high-pitched trill, rolling the tip of your tail in delight.	Player utters a high-pitched trill, rolling the tip of her tail up and down in a smooth, rapid undulation.
tail hat item	You chirr happily to yourself as you look at item, undulating your tail in delight.	Player's tail appears to ripple as it undulates up and down, and she chirrs at item.

Tail Kho (Emphasis)

The sharp, angled thrust of the tail from middle of the back toward the ground. There appears to be no discernable difference from a leftward thrust or a rightward thrust. It is most often used for emphasis, but can also be considered an expression of disdain or insult if directed at another individual.

tail kho	You flick the tip of your tail toward the ground in emphasis.	Player flicks the tip of her tail toward the ground sharply.
tail kho name	You angle your tail downward and then deliberately flick it insultingly at Name. Hmph!	Player angles her tail downward and then deliberately flicks it disdainfully up at you. How insulting!
tail kho self	You sneer and disdainfully flick the tip of your tail downward.	Player sneers disdainfully and flicks the tip of her tail downward.
tail kho item	You flick the tip of your tail at the air, gesturing at item.	Player flicks the tip of her tail at the air, emphasizing item with a sharp gesture.
tail kho (sitting/lying)	You flick the tip of your tail downward in emphasis.	Player flicks the tip of her tail downward sharply.

Tail Kiel (Thoughtful)

An intense, introspective posture where the tail grows absolutely still. This motion is often seen as calculating by those members of other races who know how to interpret it.

tail kiel	You lower your eyelids slightly, searching your mind.	Player's eyes darken with thought, and her tail grows very still.
tail kiel name	You fix Name with a cool gaze, thoughts running quickly through your mind.	Player grows extremely still as she turns an intensely calculating look on you.
tail kiel self	You grow extremely still from head to tail, delving into the inmost reaches of your soul.	Player grows quiet, an intense look of introspection overtaking her features as her tail lowers slightly and stretches into stillness.
tail kiel item	You stare intently at item, your tail abruptly growing still.	Player stares intently at item, her entire posture taking on an abrupt stillness.
tail kiel (sitting/lying)	You give your tail a quick lash, then grow very still, deep in thought.	Player's tail gives a quick lash at the air, and then she grows intensely still.

Tail Lakh (Loneliness)

A tentative, almost inquiring sway of the tail, lakh is an expression of loneliness, and is often accompanied by a turning of the head, as if in search of companionship.

tail lakh	You glance back and forth, your tail swaying forlornly.	Player looks around, her tail swaying forlornly.
tail lakh name	You gaze entreatingly at Name, your tail swaying uneasily behind you.	Player gazes at you in entreaty, tail swaying uneasily behind her. How can you resist a face like that?
tail lakh self	You sigh unhappily, with a forlorn sway of your tail. Aww. Is it all that bad?	Player hefts a heavy sigh, listlessly swaying her tail.
tail lakh item	You sigh heavily and gaze at item as if to say, "Well, it's just you and me now."	Player sighs heavily and gazes at item with a lonely sway of her tail as if to say, "Well, it's just you and me now."
tail lakh (sitting/lying)	You look around forlornly, your tail lifting to sway tentatively.	Player's tail lifts and gives a tentative sway as she gazes around forlornly.

Tail Mur (Pride)

The tail rests upon the ground, with the tip slightly curved upwards. During mur, the S'Kra is standing fully square-shouldered. This is a sign of pride or defiance.

tail mur	You fold your arms and lift your head proudly, setting your tail firmly against the ground.	Player folds her arms and lifts her head, a proud gleam in her eye and her tail resting firmly against the ground.
tail mur name	You glare defiantly at Name.	Player glares at you defiantly, her tail set firmly behind her.
tail mur self	You raise your head defiantly, setting your tail straight and firm behind you.	Player lifts her head with proud defiance, straightening her tail behind her.
tail mur item	You straighten your tail and chirr proudly, gazing at item.	Player chirrs softly with pride as she gazes at item.
tail mur (sitting)	You sit up straighter and stretch your tail proudly.	Player sits up straighter and stretches her tail proudly.
tail mur (lying)	You raise your head regally.	Player raises her head with regal pride.

Tail Oloh (Anger)

A slapping motion of the tail, where the tip is whipped at the ground, in a sharp series of motions. Most often denotes anger or is used with criticisms, much like an exclamation point. A single, powerful slap of the tip of the tail indicates extreme agression. If a S'Kra utters your name and oloh's, run!

Syntax	You See	Others See
tail oloh	You slap the tip of your tail angrily against the ground.	A look of cold menace crosses Player's features, and her hands fall to her sides, her tail lashing at the ground with a sharp, angry slap!
tail oloh name	You fix Name with a furious stare, slapping the tip of your tail violently against the ground.	A chill runs up your spine as Player fixes you with a cold, furious reptilian stare, slapping her tail violently against the ground.
tail oloh self	Oloh at yourself? That's awful.	Player's face contorts into a snarl of rage and she slaps smartly at the ground with her tail.
tail oloh item	That's a little excessive, isn't it?	Player raps the tip of her tail against the ground, staring at item.

Tail Peh (Apology)

This gesture involves the tail and the arms of the S'Kra, and is the only gesture of supplication and humility in the vast range of S'Kra gestures. With the tail curved so that the tip cradles the left heel, the arms are held outward from the elbow with the palms facing upward. While there is some disagreement on how the peh evolved, the obvious inferance is the holding forth of an offering. Since the S'Kra rarely genuflect, owing to their incapability to make the maneuver gracefully, the significance of a S'Kra with upward-facing palms should always be considered a call for a truce, an end to an argument, or an apology.

tail peh name	You gaze at Name for a moment, then lower your head, curling your tail behind you and lifting your hands in apology.	Player gazes at you for a moment before bowing her head, curling her tail behind her and lifting her hands in apology.
tail peh self	You humbly genuflect, curling your tail behind you.	Player gracefully genuflects, curling her tail humbly behind her.
tail peh item	You glance at item and wince, curling your tail to one side apologetically.	Player glances at item and winces, curling her tail to one side apologetically.
tail peh (lying)	You bow your head humbly.	Player bows her head humbly.

Tail Sih (Joke)

A gesture of the tail involving small, circular motions made with the tip. These circles are rarely larger than four inches in diameter, and are often followed by the em. This likely denotes mischief, or a joke.

tail sih name	You flick your tongue mischievously at Name, turning the tip of your tail in a small circle.	Player flicks her tongue mischievously at you, turning the tip of her tail in a small circle.
tail sih self	You chortle softly and draw tiny circles in the air with the tip of your tail.	Player chortles softly and draws tiny circles in the air with the tip of her tail.
tail sih item	You chuckle to yourself and draw a tiny circle in the air with the tip of your tail, gazing thoughtfully at item.	Player chuckles to herself and draws a tiny circle in the air with the tip of her tail, gazing thoughtfully at item.

Tail S'sa (Relief)

When the tail is in tey and brought slowly down to settle upon the ground, it is called a s'sa, which is the release of tension. It can be considered a sign of relief from the distress of a situation.

tail s'sa	You slowly lower your tail to the ground.	Player slowly lowers her tail to the ground.
tail s'sa name	You look at Name in relief, lowering the tip of your tail to the ground.	Player looks at you in relief, her tail slowly lowering to the ground.
tail s'sa self	You stretch luxuriously, from the top of your head to the tip of your tail.	Player indulges in a luxurious full body stretch, from the top of her head to the tip of her tail.
tail s'sa item	You look at item and sigh in relief, lowering the tip of your tail.	Player looks at item and sighs in relief, lowering the tip of her tail.

Tail S'uh (Caution)

When the tail is in tey and dropped into a kind of "U" shape, this is a s'uh, and implies cautious observation. The s'uh is almost always followed by a further reduction in stance to an em or s'sa when danger passes, or when a conflict is resolved.

Tail Tey (Alarm)

In the tey, the tail is brought straight up the back and held rigidly. This clearly denotes alarm or concern.
